I am a federal prison consultant. I came across your blog while doing research for an additional article I intend to publish on the Second Chance Act.
Although my work focusses on the period of time when defendants and their families prepare for incarceration in federal prison, I commend your work on the other end. The Second Chance Act may have been a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, however, it was a very modest step and so much more must be done.
